Valuation Reports
Many business valuations, such as those accompanying tax returns, should include detailed valuation reports, which Big Sky Business Valuations is accredited to perform. However, when a detailed valuation report is not required, a solution to reduce the cost to the client in the form of a summary valuation report or as a written or verbal calculation report can be performed.
Detailed Reports
A report anywhere from 50 to150 pages in length, depending on the complexity of the business being valued. They are generally used for tax and loan approval situations.
Summary Reports
A summary report is an abridged version of a detailed report. They are generally used for situations that require the same process as a tax or loan approval situation, but the client does not require the same level of documentation.
Calculation Reports
A short report usually less than 15 pages in length. These reports are utilized when the client wishes to direct which valuation approaches and/or methods are to be applied by the valuator. As a result, the results may differ from those that would have resulted from the process necessary to produce a detailed or summary report.
